At 68 years old, I feel like I've lived a full and adventurous life. One of the things that brings me the most joy is spending time with my wife, Kathy, and our beloved dog, Kopper. We've been married since 1976, and I still feel like the luckiest man in the world to have her by my side.
Traveling has always been a passion of ours, and we particularly love heading out west. There's just something about the rugged beauty of the mountains, the wide open spaces, and the sense of freedom that comes with being out in nature that really speaks to me. I always say that if you're not west of the Mississippi, you're not on vacation.
Whether we're exploring a national park, driving along a scenic route, or simply taking a leisurely stroll through a new town, there's always something new and exciting to discover. And having Kopper with us just adds to the joy - he's such a loyal and loving companion, and he always seems to enjoy our adventures as much as we do.
Of course, we've had our share of challenges over the years. But through it all, Kathy has been my rock - my constant source of support and encouragement. And as we approach our golden years, I feel grateful for every moment we've shared together, and I look forward to all the adventures that still lie ahead.
